The Responsibilities:

The team is not only a heavy user of AWS, but also one of the deeper users. Being part of the team, you will be exposed to popular technologies of the moment (e.g. microservice governance, full-link tracking, distributed architecture). You will also experience a global technical perspective, site-wide traffic access and distribution, massive data collection and cleaning, and more. You can also expect regular sharings of AWS application experience and research findings amongst the team.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Design and develop a health monitoring system for various AWS Managed Services using CloudWatch
• Monitor various metrics by setting thresholds or leveraging machine learning, and managing alarms through Slack
• Create a visual link tracking system for the overall AWS-based services using X-Ray and related components
• Implement AWS Application deployment and management on CloudFormation, continually expanding coverage to include various AWS Managed Services used by the company
• Define AWS Services standardization and craft guidelines for utilization by other R&D departments
• Identify and resolve issues within the AWS-based Backend system
• Design AWS backend service system architecture and performance review, and optimize for stability, sustainability, and resilience

The Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in AWS and able to self-produce AWS-based architect documentations
• Experience in monitoring AWS Managed Services via Cloudwatch, handling alerts based on thresholds and ML trending with Cloudwatch Alert, and Cloudwatch Dashboard planning
• Experience in deploying Service Maps based on API Gateway, Lambda, Stepfunction, ECS, etc. via X-Ray
• Experience in deploying various major services such as Lambda, SNS, SQS, Stepfunction, API Gateway, Event Bridge, etc. supported by CloudFormation

• Experience with at least 5 (of the following) AWS Managed Service design projects:

• Lambda
• SNS
• SQS
• Stepfunction
• Event Bridge
• MQ
• ElastiCache
• RDS
• Fargate
• Firehouse
• Cloudwatch
• Athena

• Excellent learning, documentation, communication and presentation skills.
• Bilingual in English and Chinese, in verbal & written to be able to liaise effectively with native Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect certified is a plus
