Job Description

Our client is a prestigious financial services company headquartered in Singapore, with global investments in various asset classes and businesses. This Lead Cloud Architect role has been established to bolster the organization\'s cloud strategy and investments, and you will be a key member of the Infrastructure and Platform Division.

As a Lead Cloud Architect, you will lead product management for emerging cloud-native services and platforms (e.g., enterprise containerization, landing zones, Infrastructure-as-Code tools, AI/Generative AI cloud platforms, and MLOps), define cloud reference architecture and standards, perform cloud governance across disciplines like identity & access management, tenant/account management, security & compliance, and billing, provide cloud-native adoption solutions and developer enablement, offer education on cloud computing technologies, manage the implementation of opinionated technologies, provision cloud services based on service level agreements, maintain virtual appliances (e.g., AMIs), oversee cloud operations disciplines (patch management, network configuration, etc.), manage vendor partnerships, and provide coaching on cloud-native architecture and practices to enterprise architects and application/infrastructure teams.

Key Requirements:

• More than 10 years of relevant experience specifically within a financial services industry
• Recent experience in delivering cloud applications on various CSP especially Amazon AWS by using cloud native designs
• Designed microservices, event driven architecture using open source, .NET, NodeJS, Python, Java, message queues, streaming, databases, and cloud data services
• Proficient in cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes (especially RedHat OpenShift), Infrastructure as Code, Service Mesh, Immutable Infrastructure, and declarative APIs.
• Deep knowledge of Infrastructure and Platform Automation tools such as Amazon CloudFormation, VMware vRealize Suite, HashiCorp Suite, Puppet, Ansible, Chef, and DataDog.
• Strong grasp of industry technology standards, security & compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, CSM), and experience in working with audit and regulatory bodies.
• Extensive experience in architecting applications and automation technologies to meet high standards of availability, agility, capacity, resiliency, and security.
• Hands-on expertise in automating full lifecycle management of cloud-based application hosting platforms using DevOps practices and CI/CD methodologies.
• AWS/ Azure certifications are an added advantage.
• Strong communication skills to influence and work with multiple key stakeholders.
