Your role
Do you want to play a vital part in the design of our current and future banking technology? Do you have proven ability to design, develop and deploy complex platforms and applications?

We’re looking for an IT technical azure cloud solutions architect to:

• design software aligned to business and IT requirements, transferring business problems into technical solutions
• work with other technical disciplines to harmonize requirements, ensuring the end solution is fit for purpose
• guide implementation teams to successful delivery
• make sure technical solutions are integrated into our heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure
• collaborate on problem analysis, proof-of-concepts, pilots, MVP design, quality and control
• provide technology solutions that will solve business problems and strengthen our position as digital leaders in financial services
• collaborate to refine user requirements through test-driven development (TDD)
• meet the high expectations of clients through frequent release cycles of quality software

Your team
You will be part of the Wealth Management Research delivery team in Singapore. We are a group of agile PODS in ZH, SG and Pune developing IT solutions for the Chief Investment Office and the Client Strategy Office (CIO & CSO). The focus of our delivery team is to provide innovative IT solutions to create and distribute investment content to UBS clients and client advisors. As an IT Technical Cloud Solutions SME, you’ll play an important role in a global software development team driving some of the key cloud solutions.

The key project we are facing is the digitalization of the process to create, personalize and distribute investment content to the UBS Wealth Management clients and client advisors.

Your expertise

• ideally worked as an IT architect of atleast 5 years within the finance sector
• proven delivery of Cloud IT solutions
• successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key objectives and timelines
• thorough understanding of Scrum framework
• exceptional experience with Java 8 programming,
• significant experience in creating Restfull APIs using Spring Boot/MVC/Security/Integration, HttpComponents, Jackson
• experience in designing, building infrastructure and web services at large scale using either monolithic or micro-service approaches
• strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (you know how to figure stuff out)
• skills required to articulate ideas clearly and execute vision from concept to production
• experience in software testing concepts including unit, integration, TDD/BDD, spec by example, end to end and non-functional testing
• skill and will to obtain a buy-in from team members and internal stakeholders
• Hands-on & practical knowledge of technologies: Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring integration, AppDynamics, Azure Cloud.
• (nice to have) Content Management Systems experience
• (nice to have) financial literacy
