Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE: We are looking for a dedicated Back End Developer that is willing to give their best to creating, developing, compile and analyze everything related to the Back End job function.JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develops all server-side logic, maintenance, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes

• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system

• Develop RESTAPI with public and private authentication.

• Compile and Analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot issues and identify the areas for improvement

• Collaborating with the Frontend developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience

• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.

• Continuously develop API Endpoints Documentation

• Continuously improve applications based on business demands and customer feedback.

• Other tasks as assigned from time to time such as reporting and system deployment

• Code repository PR/MR Team Code Review

• Mentoring backend Jr. Developers.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a degree holder or college graduate

• Preferably with 3-5+ years of working experience in a related field

• Strong knowledge and experience in using Node.js for backend development.

• Knowledge of Typescript is a plus.

• Strong knowledge of database usage like MongoDB.

• Strong knowledge of implementing RESTAPI.

• Knowledgeable in coding principles like SOLID, and CLEAN.

• Experience in Microservice Architecture.

• Experience with Version Control (Git).

• Experience working with container and serverless environments like Docker.

• Experience in bash scripting (Linux Command).

• Excellent debugging and optimization skills including code review.

• Experience handling Cloud (AWS) services is a plus.

• Knowledge of front-end frameworks such as Angular is a plus

• Unit testing experience using Mocha, Chai, or Jest is a plus.
