Job Description

:

We are looking for a

responsible and motivated Bakery Retail Assistant

to join our team. The ideal candidate should be capable of managing the

entire bakery retail operation independently

, ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Open and close the retail outlet independently Operate the

Point-of-Sale (POS) system

accurately Manage product display and restocking of bakery items Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the retail space Take and manage customer orders (walk-in and online, if applicable) Handle cash, payments, and daily sales reconciliation Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment Ensure product freshness and compliance with food safety standards Assist in light food packing or preparation, if required Provide friendly and attentive service to all customers

Requirements:

Minimum

1-2 years of relevant experience

in bakery, cafe, or retail F&B setting

Able to work independently

and take initiative Proficient in using

POS systems

and handling basic sales reports Good communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, punctual, and responsible Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices Physically fit and able to stand for extended hours

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):

Food Hygiene Certificate Experience in handling online orders (e.g. Grab, Foodpanda) Interest or knowledge in baked goods and ingredients
