Review basic banquet event orders and follow up on special requests
Organize and be responsible for the final set-up arrangement of the event
Ensure that tables are set according to standard
Greet guests at the event hall entrance and seat them
Present menu and explain all menu items including the daily specials
Serve and clear food and beverage items in an unobtrusive and professional manner
Handle money transactions and be responsible for a cash float
Assist in the opening and closing of the beverage inventory
Manage problems relating to guest satisfaction and escalate complaints to the manager on duty where necessary
Report to the manager on duty on any accident that happens immediately no matter the severity
Recognize and address potentially intoxicated, disruptive, or undesirable guests
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisors, carrying them out diligently and professionally
Requirements

PSLE or equivalent
Fresh graduates are welcome
Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
* Willing to work rotating shift including weekends and public holidays
