Job Description
- Adheres to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
- Creation and design of cocktails
- Responsible for the constant supply of beverage stock for the entire zouk group
- Takes and/or processes orders for drinks; mixes, garnishes and presents drinks using standard ingredient recipes; practices prudent portion control
- Detects and acts upon guest inebriation as trained. Demonstrates knowledge of liquor laws
- Ensure that all bar equipment, including but not limited to sinks, taps, blenders, cash registers, is in proper operational condition and is cleaned on a regular basis. Ensure that all bar/lounge facilities are cleaned, and properly stocked according to anticipated business volumes.
- Knowledge of liquor laws and ensure that they are adhered to all times without fail
- Good drinks product knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving
- Service-orientated
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- At least 5 years and above of bartending experience, preferably in a speakeasy bar environment
