Job descriptionBarista Duties and Responsibilities1. Greeting customers in a friendly manner and taking food and drink orders.2. Preparing and serving beverages, ranging from simple to elaborate ones.3. Preparing and serving food items such as beverages, soups, pastas, sandwiches and pastries.4. Answering customersaEUR(TM) questions about menu choices.5. Promoting and recommending menu options to customers.6. Taking payment from customers and handling till/cash register.7. Maintaining inventory and equipment by cleaning, troubleshooting and scheduling repairs.8. Keeping the work environment sanitary and organized. Routinely cleans the bar area, floor, windows and grinders, and takes out trash.9. Evaluating and modifying processes to improve efficiency and quality of service.10. Working to attract new customers and expanding the menu.11. Experience in retail/specialty store or food establishment preferred.12. Excellent verbal and written skills.13. Provides superior services and promotes a friendly, comfortable environment by providing fast and friendly service. Adheres to Company Guidelines.14. Restocks shelves, when necessary.15. Assists in the distribution of weekly shipments and maintains a clean and organized storage room.16. Reports potential safety hazards to the manager on duty.17. Reports all employee accidents to the manager on duty.18. Informs the manager on duty of any operational inconsistencies.19. Maintains the highest quality, consistent product standards.20. Follows all Company drink recipes and procedures.21. Handles and maintains equipment.Barista skills and qualificationsBaristas need a variety of skills to memorize drink recipes, learn how to operate equipment and provide efficient customer service:u Excellent verbal and written skillsu Ability to listen well and communicate in a professional and friendly manneru Provides customer service excellenceu Practices basic safety procedures with respect to equipment and handling hot beveragesu Efficient and organizedu Builds good relationships with customersu Maintains a clean work environmentu Keeps supplies replenished to minimize downtimeu Experience in retail/specialty store or food establishment preferredJob Type: Full-timeSalary: From Php17,000.00 per monthSchedule:
