Long-Term Part-Time Barista and Bagel Maestro
Are you a coffee lover and sandwich enthusiast looking for a fun and engaging part-time job? Look no further! We are seeking a dynamic and friendly barista to join our team at our bustling coffee shop. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and culinary skills by preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks and assembling delicious bagel sandwiches for our customers. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a range of coffee and tea drinks, including espresso-based drinks, and cold brew, with a focus on quality and presentation
• Take and process orders from customers, including handling credit card, nets and paynow transactions
• Assemble and serve bagel sandwiches, including toasting the bagels, spreading spreads, and adding toppings as requested by the customer
• Get creative and come up with your own unique sandwich combinations to recommend to customers
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and sandwich station, including cleaning equipment and restocking supplies
• Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions about menu items and making recommendations as needed

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience working as a barista or in a similar customer service role
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately
• A passion for coffee and a desire to learn more about different brewing methods and beans
• A love of creating and trying new sandwich combinations
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 12kg
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Able to commit minimum 3 days a week
