Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and service-oriented Barista to join our team. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving quality coffee and beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming cafe environment.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

Coffee & Beverage Preparation Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and non-coffee beverages according to standard recipes. Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion control. Perform daily calibration of coffee machine and maintain brewing standards.
Customer Service


Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide product recommendations. Handle customer feedback or complaints professionally and promptly. Create a positive and friendly cafe experience for all customers.
Operations & Hygiene


Maintain cleanliness of the cafe counter, workstation, equipment, and dining areas. Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards (SFA guidelines). Ensure proper stock rotation for ingredients, coffee beans, milk, and supplies. Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning, cash handling, and preparation for next shift.
Inventory & Cashiering


Assist in stock-taking of ingredients, packaging, and cafe supplies. Handle POS system transactions, payment processing, and balancing cash drawer at shift end. Report low stock levels and issues to supervisor or manager.
Teamwork & Other Support


Work closely with the team to ensure smooth cafe operations. Assist with simple food preparation if required. Participate in training, new product launches, and promotional activities.

Job Requirements

Preferably with 1 year of barista or cafe experience Strong interest in coffee, customer service, and F&B industry. Pleasant, positive, and outgoing personality with good communication skills. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle peak periods. Attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality beverages. Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and shift hours as required. * Basic knowledge of coffee machines, brewing methods, latte art, and cafe operations is an added advantage.
