Job Overview

To assist in the day-to-day food production and supervise Cooks and Casuals. Execute production for all items needed in the day-to-day Hotel operation. Ensure that systems are in place and followed while maintaining a high degree of associate satisfaction by adhering to all Marriott Standards and Policies and Singapore Marriott Hotel standards of excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities * Assure that all food prepared will be in accordance with Marriott standards and quality. Complete production charts for daily preparation with Sous Chef.

• Assist Sous Chef in assigning, co-ordinating and supervising all phase of food production.
• Prepare all food according to recipe cards and follow the standard for food cleanliness and safety.
• Instruction has to be followed, in order to reach a standard of excellence in every outlet.
• To work in a safe manner at all times, to eliminate accidents.
• To enforce our policy, \xe2\x80\x9cClean As you go\xe2\x80\x9d.
• Daily cleaning of kitchen equipment in work area.
• Daily check and cleaning of walking fridge.
• Daily covering, rotating and dating of all food items.
• Co-operation and team work at all times.
• Perform all other reasonable tasks as requested by Management.
• Will sign acceptance of tools \xe2\x80\x93 uniforms and knives etc. and will pay back to the company any money for loss or damage of said tools.
• If any employee is sick, he will immediately contact his immediate supervisor or Executive Chef and will collect a sick note before returning to work.
• We only accept standard of excellence.
• Personal phone calls between working hours are not permitted.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
