He /She is responsible for performing technical refresh for software and hardware components in the Data Centre. He /She has to ensure that the IT and Data Centre systems are reliable, monitored, and ensure support operations are conducted in a timely manner. He /She will also collaborate with stakeholders to serve, observe, own, and solve problems through innovation to enhance smooth production deployments and increase availability.The Consultant is able resolve issues quickly and effectively as they arise. He /She is able to methodically identify the cause of the issue, evaluate it and develop a solution in collaboration with the team. He /She is able to communicate effectively and display high service level standards.The Consultant applies critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues. He /She also applies creative skills to address technical challenges in the job.Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery frameworks and infrastructure services complying to BCM standards and best practices.
  • Lead the support team members that are keys to the successful delivery of the services.
  • Manage change to service projects\' scope and schedule to maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Understand clients\' business environment and challenges. Apply knowledge to address clients\' issues.
  • Apply information gathering methods, tools and techniques, which are appropriate to the information required and sources available e.g. focus groups, structured interviews, design of questionnaires/surveys, observation, statistical analysis, etc.
  • Observe and analyse information to identify trends and issues, identify root causes to problems, employ structured approaches to generate ideas, evaluate and select actions. Recommend courses of action that are supported by sound rationale, objective facts and research.
  • Craft clear, well organised reports/messages/papers and bringing out the value to the customer.
  • Manage customer relationship during the projects through strong governance and communications skills.
  • Provide pre-sales support for RFPs by sizing delivery cost, writing of proposals, customized response for bid questions and presentation on Service Projects Implementation to potential customers.
  • Ensure that customer projects are completed with high quality and to the customer\'s satisfaction.
  • Manage and maintain Recovery Centre\'s certifications and audits requirements.
.The ideal candidate should possess:
  • People Communications, Presentation, Project Management, Analytical Mind set,
  • Technology skillset is not required. Knowledge of technology and business concepts will be advantageous.
Preferred Skill:
  • Attended BCM Training
Domain:
  • Knowledge or experience in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery preferred.
  • Educational Qualification: Degree or Diploma
  • Years of Experience: 1-3 years
  • Certifications: DRI, BCI or CITBCM certification would be advantageous
  • Work Location: Based in NCS Bedok.
