Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of one year's experience working on bids and tenders, ideally within the construction industry.
  • Advance computer literacy; proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, effectively prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines while driving results.
  • Strong writing skills to translate operational information into clear, informative, and easy to understand copy.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to proactively coordinate bid submissions and collaborate with various departments to extract submission material.
  • Well organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
  • Personal values of integrity, authenticity, and transparency.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to clarify, resolve issues, make decisions, and mentor team members.

What You Will Do
  • Manage and coordinate tender submissions, proposals and presentations, including editing, proofreading, and formatting of documents before submission.
  • Liaise with a variety of internal stakeholders to drive deadlines and obtain information relevant to the bid response.
  • Assess and establish bid/no bid process that is suitable to our business expertise, skillsets, and knowledge.
  • Apply project management skills with a primary focus on setting priorities and coordinating multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
  • Liaise with our estimating teams to produce the relevant submission price responses.
  • Review and write content where necessary; may include content for the company's different social media platforms.
  • Draft non-technical content such as cover letters, executive summaries, project data sheets, and resumes.
  • Establish and maintain a tender library that complies with our ISO processes.
  • Ensure consistency of format and style in line with guidelines.
  • Actively update and maintain the bid and tender database.
  • Conduct client and industry research to support business development activities.
  • Ensure all requests are prioritized, managed, and delivered according to tender timelines and client expectations.
  • Coordinate proposal inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from Operations Managers, Finance, Commercial, and HR.
  • Update, modify, and create tender response supporting documentation as required.
