An intrinsic member of the global bidding team, this position reports to the Head of Bidding, APAC, based in Singapore. This role will work on the coordination, design, development and delivery of RFIs/RFPs across multiple sectors in the construction industry including the Data Center, Life Sciences, Commercial Real Estate, Residential, High-Tech Industrial, Hospitality, Healthcare amongst others.

Experience in international Bid/Proposal coordination with strong people and communication skills and an ability to work under tight turnaround times are also pre-requisites for this interesting and diverse role. An interest in changing the way we win work through digital application is also desired. We are looking for a candidate who is not afraid to get stuck in, is positive and enthusiastic and works well under pressure.

In this role you will:

  • Assist in the end-to-end coordination of Bid/Proposals with key stakeholders to capture required data and inputs
  • Read, interpret and convey customer solicitation, RFP/RFI documents and create the proposal responsibility matrix and schedule and keep track of proposal progress
  • Support with the capture plan and win strategy workshops to ensure that all client issues are understood, all win themes identified, and all evidence and CVs gathered.
  • Work with the APAC Bid Team to help develop and communicate localized win themes and creative design approaches. Convey customer requirements to the internal bid team and ensure delivery on these key requirements within the bid
  • Explore, seek out, analyse, and share innovations and new bidding methodologies with the wider team
  • Ensure a winning, compliant, error-free document arrives with the client in the correct format, meeting the deadlines
  • Work with technical teams to produce top quality presentations and support in the practice and ‘dry-runs’ of presentation preparation
  • Identify and share lessons learned as inputs to the continuous improvement of the bid process and tools
  • Engage with the varying support functions of the bid process from technical, IT and HR through to Finance
  • Support the preparation of other deliverables related to the opportunity such as presentations and follow-up requests
  • Assist in the writing and updating of CVs and project sheets (will involve writing new content, editing existing)
  • Review, proof, validate, and issue best-in-class proposal documents and maintain all related data in central repository
  • Asist in the management and be involved in the creation and maintenance of local proposal/bidding collateral library and central storage for the group
  • Manage and update local elements of databases including CVs, project photography, and project data
  • Support new content development efforts and strategic firm initiatives as required
  • Process Improvements & Best Practices: Take part in the Global Bid Team forum and best practice to work collaboratively to drive innovation and best-in-bidding.
We would love to hear from you if you:
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience in marketing, communications or similar discipline
  • Have worked in a multi-faceted marketing or proposal role with similar responsibilities. Ideally has experience of the tender process and knowledge of key terminology and documents
  • Have excellent IT skills with knowledge of InDesign / Adobe Suite / Powerpoint and the full Microsoft suite
  • Are an excellent and confident communicator verbally and in writing
  • Love a dynamic environment with the opportunity to manage your own priorities and deadlines
  • Have a highly collaborative nature and enjoy working within a global team
  • Are detail oriented and quality focused with strong time management skills
  • Are able to work effectively to meet deadlines and supporting colleagues to meet deadlines
