As BIM Coordinator/Lead, you will help your team oversee the implementation of BIM on new projects. Assist with or take ownership for writing the BIM Execution Plan and defining the BIM scope. Implement company/client BIM Standards on project. Maintain integrated BIM model, run clash detection reports and maintain issues log. Assist project team with setup/utilization of Navisworks as a design review/clash tool. Work with Space Coordinator to ensure designers are producing clash free designs. Assist team members using 3D software and processes. Participation in Design Review and Clash Resolution meetings. Reports directly to the PM and able to represent the PM at high profile meetings. Participate in writing the company BIM Standards. Perform some QA/QC on design models and cleanup of directories. Here’s What You’ll Need:
Preferably Background or industry experience in one of the MEP disciplines is a plus. A passionate leader with strong communication, organization, and analytical skills. Serve as the projects BIM Subject Matter Expert for projects with the ability to trouble shoot problems both with the software and the way the users are using it. Experience with at least one of the following: Revit Architecture (3 years), Revit Structure (3 years), or Revit MEP (3 years). Proficient with Navisworks Manage, including the ability to setup clash reports, rules, and selection sets. Experienced working with Excel to create client clash reports and other deliverables. Ability to write batch, script, and other automation programs is a plus. You need to provide Navisworks and other training as required. Develop technical information and presentation material for response to RFP. Research and stay informed on BIM related software and technologies. Participate in user group meetings for BIM related software. Jacobs. A world where you can.
