Job Description

Responsibilities:

1.

On-Site BIM Implementation:

Collaborate closely with the Project BIM Manager and construction teams to facilitate the on-site implementation of BIM processes. Ensure seamless coordination of 3D models and BIM data to support construction planning and execution.

Model Coordination:

Conduct regular clash detection analyses on BIM models to identify and resolve coordination issues. Collaborate with design and construction teams to address clashes and optimize construction workflows.

3.

BIM Data Management:

Assist in the organization and management of BIM data relevant to the on-site construction phase. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of BIM models, drawings, and associated documentation.

4.

Collaborative Communication:

Facilitate effective communication between on-site personnel, BIM managers, and design teams. Act as a liaison to resolve coordination challenges promptly and foster a collaborative BIM environment.

5.

Training and Support:

Provide on-site training and support to construction teams on BIM tools and coordination workflows. Address and resolve BIM-related issues encountered during the construction process.

6.

Quality Assurance:

Assist in the implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with BIM standards and project specifications. Conduct regular reviews of BIM models for accuracy and completeness.

Job Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, or a related field. Formally trained in BIM (Diploma or Training certification), preferably with at least two (1) year of BIM coordination or BIM management experience in a design, engineering or construction firm or a large project. Minimum of 4 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on on-site implementation. Proficient in BIM software, including but not limited to Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD. Experience in clash detection and resolution workflows. Familiarity with LTA project requirements and a solid understanding of the specific demands of transportation infrastructure projects in Singapore. Proven experience working on construction sites, with a deep understanding of on-site challenges and dynamics. Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively convey BIM-related concepts to on-site teams. Strong interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among diverse project stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address coordination challenges effectively. Proactive mindset to anticipate and resolve potential BIM-related issues. Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and changes in construction plans. * Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced construction site environment.
