Job Duties

Managing BIM works

  • Undertake the role of BIM Manager for all local projects and for new tenders
  • Responsible for creating, implementing and enforcing project BIM execution plans
  • Creation and maintenance of the software template files to align with standards
  • Manage BIM outputs for client issue and ensure they meet the Client\'s information requirements
  • Automate routines in BIM to support standards and productivity
Driving and Implementation
  • Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all outputs produced. Knowledge of PAS1192 standards is desirable.
  • Assist in developing and enforcing BIM Documentation and workflow process standards
  • Support Project Standards Coordination with Stakeholders
  • Undertake audits on provided models and report on non-conformances with the BIM Execution plan and Client requirements.
Improving Capabilities
  • Manage and distribute coordinated Information Models with the project team
  • Internal Training: Provide BIM Management and training on BIM based tools
  • Provide Technical orientation to new hires regarding BIM tools and Strategy
  • Assess BIM based competencies of new and existing staff
  • Stay informed on best practices for Digital Engineering
  • Any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior
Job Requirements
  • Tertiary Degree (Bachelor level) in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering, Built Environment or Architecture or Building Services
  • Total work experience: 10 years
  • Has Design and construct work experience
  • Ability to manage a project\'s digital information across all functions
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and risk management skills
  • Ability to drive compliance and effective governance
  • Demonstrated ability to drive business excellence and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in design management and understanding of construction delivery
  • Ability to publicly present, network and train others
  • Understanding of project operational and functional inputs into the digital engineering process
