JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
BIM Implementation below for the specific requirements of a BIM Manager.

• BIM Manager to manage the overall BIM/CAD deliverables for the project. The BIM Manager shall be considered the main point of contact for BIM to overall manage and coordinate the use and delivery of BIM for the project.
• The BIM Manager shall work with BIM Coordinators of other disciplines and coordinate with BIM Managers of other contracts to ensure the appropriate implementation of the BIM Execution Plan and deliverables as well as the effective and efficient collaboration and coordination of design.
• The BIM Manager shall lead all parties involved in BIM Modelling and engage them in 3D review process throughout the duration of the Project. This process shall include regularly scheduled meetings where the BIM Coordinators and relevant decision making authority are expected to attend.
• All BIM deliverables will be checked and reviewed by the BIM Manager and get client approval
• Manage and coordinate the overall use of BIM for each contract as well as liaising with both internal and external project stakeholders, i.e consultants, partners, vendors, contractors and customers on BIM execution and ensuring technical compliance.
• Facilitate collaborative engineering sessions using BIM as the primary source of data during review
• BIM/CAD Deliverables submission to Client on a monthly basis like 2D,3D,4D,5D,6D
• Coordinated Combined Service Model (CCSM) Submission
• Clash Detection Management

• Conduct and manage an adequate and thorough clash detection process before commencing construction so that interferences between BIM elements will be detected and resolve before installation.
• review the CCSM and the clash reports in coordination meetings as required by the BIM Execution Plan, until all spatial and system coordination issues have been resolved.
• Reviewing of the CCSM after Basic Structure Completion (BSC) submission shall continue in the meetings. The reviews shall include but not limited to clash detection, maintainability of equipment and model definitions. The BIM Manager shall resolve these issues, update the CCSM and issue the latest model to the interfacing parties.

• As-Built Delivery Format

• Develop Released Models according to the BIM Execution Plan
• develop the Released Models suitable for As-Built handover according to the BIM Execution Plan and provide final As-Built Models for subsequent operation and maintenance.

• Set up and implementing BIM system for department and projects.
• Manage BIM enforcement as well as liaising with both internal and external project stakeholders, i.e consultants, partners, vendors, contractors and customers on BIM execution and ensuring technical compliance.
• Maintain software, hardware and providing support relating to BIM production.
• Liaise with vendors and technical support staff.
• Conduct training related to BIM system, tools and standards.
• Prepare BIM submissions for project & proposal including drawing, layout and interacting point requirements.
• Incorporate BIM system into respective design management, project management and plant management so as to achieve plant integration for project and plant operations & maintenance.
• Providing technical supports to site during project execution and commissioning work.
• Any tasks or jobs assigned by Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Requirements *:

• The BIM Manager shall have a minimum 8 years of relevant experience and shall undertake the role and responsibility as provided in the Singapore BIM Guide.
• Degree/ Diploma in Civil / Chemical / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in BIM related design, drafting or engineering.
• In-depth working knowledge of current BIM versions with emphasis on project sheet setup.
• Familiar with BIM 3D, 4D, 5D, 6D deliverables and BIM implementation and management.
• Familiar with Singapore BIM guide and Singapore BIM Particular Condition by BCA and its implementation
• Related working experiences in thermal power plants, waste/water treatment facilities, process industries and/or mechanical handling equipment.
• Knowledge of BIM software and design software.
