We are seeking a skilled and motivated BIM Modeller with experience in plumbing and sanitary systems to join our expanding team.
As a
BIM Modeller - Plumbing & Sanitary
, you will be responsible for creating and managing detailed 3D models and technical drawings of plumbing and sanitary systems using Revit and other BIM tools. You have to convert AutoCAD drawings into BIM models efficiently. You will coordinate closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate design, clash-free coordination, and compliance with project standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate 3D BIM models for plumbing and sanitary systems using Autodesk Revit MEP.
Prepare shop drawings, installation drawings, and as-built documentation.
Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural) to resolve clashes and discrepancies.
Conduct regular model updates based on design changes and site feedback.
Attend coordination meetings and liaise with site teams for technical support and clarifications.
Attach to site when required to verify installations, perform site measurements, or provide support to the construction team.
Ensure compliance with local building codes and project specifications.
Maintain documentation and ensure proper version control of BIM models and drawings.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related field.
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in BIM modeling for plumbing and sanitary systems.
Proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP is essential; Navisworks and AutoCAD experience is an advantage.
Familiarity with Singapore Building Codes and Authority submission standards (e.g., PUB, BCA).
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to attend and be attached to the construction site as needed.
