Company Description:

This is an energy and commodities firm with a significant global footprint. There is now an exciting opportunity for a Biofuel Trade Operator to join the collaborative operations department to take this segment to the next level.

Main Responsibilities:

Reporting to the operations manager, the trade operator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of biofuels based on supply and demand plans while ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. This includes liaison with ship-owners/ brokers for ship availability and shipping freight for products. Activities will be done in close tandem with traders and charterers, providing effective operations support.

The Operator will also be responsible for overseeing vessel nomination, managing contracts ad obtaining LC approval. Understanding and proactively managing demurrage risks will also be a key responsibility.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should ideally be a bachelor\'s degree holder or equivalent with 3-7 years of relevant operations experience in Biofuel or Middle Distillates. Candidates with strong expertise in biofuel feedstock and storage facilty management will be considered favourably. You will also be described as detail-oriented, resourceful, and methodical.
