Junior Vessel Operator directly assists all aspects of vessel operations within the relevant trade group under the supervision of senior operators. This role involves daily interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support senior operators on daily voyage execution, such as sending voyage instruction, liaise with 3rd party vendors, generating hire and freight invoices, laytime calculation and disputes handling etc.
- Pro-actively identify, and propose solutions to problems or potential issues
- Ad-hoc tasks
- Possesses a Diploma or Degree in Maritime Study/Shipping/Logistics or related disciplines
- Prior working experience in shipping industry
