: " Overview As part of the Market Segment team, Biopharma & BMR Market Development Manager is primarily responsible for identifying, developing, and managing segment focused market strategy to support current and mid-term business opportunities in the region. As an integral part of team, the person is required to work with other cross-functional team such sales, marketing, service etc. within APAC global markets organization as well as global stakeholders to execute global and regional initiatives to drive customer satisfactions and success. This person will be an important interface between customers and development of cutting-edge LC and MS based measurement solutions. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Defining the strategy and coordinating the activity across a network of regional business development teams to grow the lead and opportunity pipeline via customer events and key account activities at customer events and key account visits Manage APAC biopharma & BMR campaigns with the Demand Generation team using market specific content and Waters Compass platform to drive customer engagement and sales opportunities and measure campaign effectiveness using appropriate metrics Develop and manage marketing tactics through various marketing channels such as industry events, seminars, digital (webinar and email) campaigns, targeted account-based marketing etc. to drive near-term business goals and strategic thought leadership Work with APAC country stakeholders in campaign localization including but not limited to marketing collaterals, training support and alignment of local initiatives/campaigns to meet country sales objectives Building an in-depth knowledge of the needs of Biopharma/Large Molecule & BMR customers Managing relationships across a matrixed organization with Professional Services teams, Sales, Marketing and Commercial Operations regionally and globally Planning and Execution of multidimensional marketing plan across the APAC region Collaborating with key opinion leaders to bring their stories of scientific success to a worldwide audience Providing the voice of the Biopharmaceutical & BMR customer to corporate Product Management to ensure the needs of APAC customers are fed into the development of new solutions Providing accurate business analysis reports to make data driven marketing decisions Building customer facing presentations and audio-visual content to support sales enablement Provide regular market research updates through various sources (external and internal) to keep up with latest market development in biopharmaceuticals industry Qualifications Key Requirements: Honours Science Degree or higher MBA or Post graduate qualifications is preferred Experience : Business to Business marketing with a scientific bias ideally involving Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry in the Biopharmaceutical &/or BMR industry/institutions Experience in the biopharmaceutical/biotech &/or BMR industry/institutions with deep understanding of biopharmaceutical R&D processes/workflows and associated regulations Experience in LC/MS method development and/or analysis of biopharmaceuticals is desirable Experience in emerging biopharmaceutical modalities and gene & cell therapies is a plus Experience working in a biomedical research environment with a broad understanding/familiarity with omics (especially metabolomics, lipidomics and proteomics) is a plus Competencies: In depth understanding of Biopharmaceutical analysis with LC and MS based systems Marketing Plan development and execution Strong communication skills, Presentation both oral and written Team ethic with a passion for customer success Travel : Travel in APAC with occasional travel to our Headquarters near Boston USA Up to 30% of working time travelling Company Description Waters Corporation (NYSE: WAT), the world's leading specialty measurement company, has pioneered chromatography, mass spectrometry and thermal analysis innovations serving the life, materials, and food sciences for more than 60 years.
