COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Children and Youth Group, Gracehaven and The haven are residential homes for children and youths who require care, protection and rehabilitation due to risk behaviours and a lack of parental supervision. We aim to help children and youths reintegrate back into their families and society through an array of holistic programmes and activities specially designed to cater to the well-being of each individual person. At CYG residential, a team of professionally trained social workers work towards building holistic and individualized care plans that are tailored to meet each person\xe2\x80\x99s needs. As key personnel of the team, you are expected to lead, develop and maintain capabilities to provide high-quality care to meet the diverse needs of children entering the unit programme. You are also to lead the daily operations of the units and ensure that the safety and welfare of the clients are taken care of. You need to support the Head of Home in the coaching and supervision of professional staff, offer guidance to ensure smooth work delivery in the 2 centres and observe the Standards of Care while upholding the ethics and ethos of the social work practice.
DESIGNATION : Block Manager (CYG)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversight 24/7 operations of the units; ensuring the safety and welfare of both staff and clients and leading and supporting the unit staff involved in the management of the clients.
• Provide oversight on the progress of casework practices so as to ensure delivery of quality and effective intervention and services.
• Establish close working partnerships both internally (within your Units and with the rest of the programmes hosted within Gracehaven and The Haven \xe2\x80\x93 both at the team and volunteer level) and with other partnering agencies and institutions so as to maximise our community resources and support systems.

QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Social Services related preferred
Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience managing a department in residential homes
• Able to work operational hours; 44 hours per workweek
