Excellent oral and written English communication skills
A graduate of a 4-year business course (preferably Accountancy, Management Accounting, or Accounting Technology)
Preferably with experience in bookkeeping for at least 2 years
Knowledge in commonly used accounting systems, such as QuickBooks Online or Xero, is a plus
Experience or knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts for Australian companies and Australian tax laws, including payroll and GST, is a plus
Knowledge of MS Office, specifically Excel and Outlook
Excellent accuracy and data entry skills
Can work on under pressure and complete on schedule
Able to do tasks with minimum supervision
Able to acquire proficiency in new systems and web tools
