Position Summary: We now have a great opportunity for a Brand Manager / Senior Brand Manager to join our Consumer business. Working within the Marketing Team you will be responsible for leading our consumer marketing brands. You will work closely with the cross-functional Teams and Regional Counterparts in order to create and execute initiatives through the Consumer Journey.
Key competencies: Apply in-depth understanding of consumer and marketplace dynamics to pursue end to end brand management and development.

  • Applies working knowledge of brand strategies and brand building tactics to provide input in the planning process and execution of them
  • Working knowledge of competitive price elasticity models and brand tiers to assist in forming robust Pricing recommendations.
  • Have an understanding of project management tools and techniques to define project objectives, milestones, scope, processes and potential process improvements
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the brand P&L and its components to determine implications of marketing decisions on brand profitability
  • Draws on knowledge and experience of key drivers of demand forecast to address key components and accuracy of forecasting in partnership with Supply Chain
  • Strong analytical capabilities to lead brand performance analysis and deliver recommendations
  • Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media
  • Assisting with product development, pricing and new product launches as well as developing new business opportunities

Principle Responsibilities
  • Leading the development and implementation of brand strategies of a portfolio of brands
  • Build and support the creation of innovative and effective campaigns to grow sales & market share in your Brands. From development of concepts with agency, briefing of media agency down to executions of campaign
  • Manage new product launches, from supply chain to pricing to preparing sell in presentations to customers
  • Attend and contribute to relevant brand team meetings and business planning process.
  • Lead external agency relationships and ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work with media partners to implement optimisations to digital campaigns
  • Working directly with creative agencies to develop or adapt tools and assets that support all sub-brand marketing initiatives.
  • Lead launch of NPDs to ensure flawless execution.
  • Work closely with Customer Development team to implement commercial initiatives to drive profitability.
  • To work with eCommerce team to plan winning eCommerce campaigns for brand
  • Competitor and customer insights analysis
  • To work on Annual Business/Brand Planning to strategize for following year
  • Assist in the development of retail ready plans for your brand to deliver Category growth and present to key Customers.
  • Participate in customer meetings, especially joint business planning with key customers
  • To champion your brand within the broader organisation

Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Consumer Health business to create a new publicly traded company. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 24 months, and it will be subject to legal requirements, and other customary conditions and approvals.
Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of a new entity within New Consumer Health.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, Marketing/Business preferred
  • More than 5 years of Brand Management Experience in an FMCG environment essential.
  • Commercial understanding with strong financial acumen
  • Understanding of P&L Development
  • Experience with executing digital/online marketing strategies is required
  • Can do attitude, with the ability to influence and work in a collaborative way
  • Proven implementation ability
  • Proactive and results driven
  • Good Interpersonal skills with the ability to influence
  • Flexibility to adapt plans/challenges as they arise
  • Passion for building brands and a proven track record in developing brand strategies is required
