Job Desctiption & Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily construction site activities and workforce operations. Ensure that construction work complies with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards. Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for management. Coordinate and schedule work with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel. Inspect work to ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and project requirements. Manage material deliveries, site logistics, and inventory to avoid delays. Enforce safety procedures and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. Identify potential problems or delays and take corrective action to keep projects on schedule. Communicate effectively with engineers, architects, project managers, and clients. Maintain site documentation, including daily reports, timesheets, and incident logs. Tender coordination including compilation of tender documents and ensure all mandatory documents are completed, accurate for submission tender. Management of foreign workers affairs and social activities. Perform tender measurements and quantity take-offs, verifying construction quantities against drawings and specifications to support tendering, cost estimation, and project valuation processes. Attend and resolve residents' complaints or feedback promptly and professionally, ensuring minimal disruption and maintaining positive community relations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).

Experienced:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building construction supervision or a related field. Proven experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and safety regulations. Proficiency in project management and site reporting software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, Excel).

Soft Skills:

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple teams and tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Working Conditions:

Based primarily on-site at active construction locations. May involve working outdoors in various weather conditions. Requires wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). May include extended hours or weekend work depending on project needs. Able to work under pressure and work independently. Be willing to travel and transport to any project site across Singapore as required by project assignments and company needs.

Performance Indicators:

Timely project completion within budget. Compliance with safety and quality standards. Effective team coordination and communication. Minimal rework and waste.
