Their responsibilities encompass defining, managing, and executing changes across the company. Central to their function is the comprehensive handling of business requirements\xe2\x80\x94from initial elicitation to thorough analysis, careful refinement, rigorous validation, and formal documentation. This meticulous process enables the identification and implementation of optimal solutions tailored to specific requirements. Additionally, in smaller-scale initiatives, the Business Analyst often assumes the dual responsibility of Project Manager, further emphasizing their versatility and importance in driving organizational progress.Business Analyst ResponsibilitiesRequirements Management

• Employ effective methods, standards, and tools to elicit requirements from stakeholders
• Apply systematic, disciplined, and analytical approaches to analyze and validate requirements
• Conduct impact assessments to compare current ("as-is") and future processes, systems, and structures
• Perform data analysis to ensure consistency, quality, and standardization
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and secure formal approval of all requirement documentation
• Collaborate with service providers to ensure clear understanding of requirements and solution limitations

Solution Assessment and Validation

• Work closely with the Architecture team to optimize solutions
• Lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders to explore solution options and develop design documents
• Provide support for functional and integration testing

Change Management and Implementation Support

• Assist Change Management activities by providing information for effective communication
• Offer project support during implementation, including: \xe2\x80\xa2 Addressing queries \xe2\x80\xa2 Troubleshooting issues \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaising with service providers \xe2\x80\xa2 Delivering regular reports
• Contribute to project management processes, such as status reporting, risk management, issue tracking, change management, and compliance oversight
• For smaller projects, assume dual role of Project Manager and Business Analyst to ensure successful delivery

Ideal Candidate ProfileProfessional Skills:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, adept at engaging proactively with both external and internal stakeholders
• Proficient in established Project Management methodologies and frameworks
• Experienced in business analysis techniques, including: Flow charting, Requirements capturing, Stakeholder analysis, Use case development, Brainstorming, Solution prototyping, Traceability

Industry Knowledge:

• Experience in asset management or life insurance sectors is highly valued
• Familiarity with Asian markets and regional regulatory practices

Personal Attributes:

• Self-motivated and independent, with a proactive approach to work
• Detail-oriented while maintaining ability to navigate ambiguous situations
• Adaptable and resilient in dynamic work environments

Required Qualification and Experience

• Minimum of a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree
• Business Analyst Certification
• 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience in Financial Services
• Asset management experience is preferred
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
