Job Description
Role:Reporting:
- Prepare weekly/monthly market commentaries for existing clients.
- Create monthly/quarterly vessel earnings reports for existing clients.
- Develop and maintain internal reports for Operators/Charterers/Management.
- Evaluate prospective pool vessels.
- Prepare presentations for current/prospective clients.
- Maintain relationships by interacting with Investors/Partners/Ship Owners.
- Keep databases and dashboards updated.
- Visualize information using Business Intelligence Software.
- Compile and analyze competitor and benchmark results, and earnings releases.
- Conduct market research.
- Run fleet P&L results and analyze vessel performance.
- Perform ad-hoc analysis across all sectors to improve Group productivity.
- Maritime/Shipping-related degree or analytical degree in Maths, Science, Economics, Finance, Engineering, etc.
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and in time-constrained situations.
- Keen interest in the shipping and dry bulk sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Business Intelligence Software and databases is desirable.
- Familiarity with the IMOS system.
