17 October 2024We are hiring for a Business Analyst to drive solutions and improve operational procedures while managing compliance and vendor relationships. Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, you\'ll implement efficient workflows and support key fund events and reporting.Mandatory Skill(s)

• Degree in Finance/Business Administration;
• Strong understanding of Variable Capital Company (VCC) regulations and investment operations;
• Proven experience in managing projects, from initiation to execution and closure;
• Ability to analyze complex data and assess operational risks effectively;
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance protocols;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders;
• Strong aptitude for identifying issues and developing innovative solutions.

Desirable Skill(s)

• Prior experience in managing budgets related to vendor contracts and operational projects.
• Experienced in preparing and delivering effective presentations for stakeholder meetings.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with front office in GFM as a Business Manager to drive solutions, improve procedures/infrastructure for the Variable Capital Company (VCC) business and implement end to end systematically captured workflows;
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers/brokers for the setup and maintenance of trading accounts;
• Work with Fund Administrators and Custodians to support fund events, asset transfers and month end reporting;
• Initiate negotiations and management of external service contracts with vendors to ensure that service level agreements are being met along with instigate RFP\xe2\x80\x99s and due diligence on new vendors/service providers are done periodically per contract end;
• Review and work with business and support units to ensure VCC\xe2\x80\x99s compliance with regulatory requirements, including maintenance of registers and records;
• Support and coordinate with relevant parties on operational risk reporting, tax/regulatory filings, audit, insurance related matters;
• Perform assurance or risk /control related testing.
