An exciting opportunity to join the Digital Solutions and Propositions Innovations team located in Singapore for a dedicated professional who is interested in business development, client management, management of data analytics projects, and acting as a liaison point among business units in other geographies for data analytics projects while driving the actuarial discussions on quantification of risk. The division supports Munich Re\'s life and health clients in Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa business.As such you will gain exposure to a wide variety of business problems, other teams of Munich Re, clients and geographies. You will report to the Chief Business Officer, Digital Solutions, Life & Health 2, and will be based in Singapore.Your Role:

• Act as a point person for managing opportunities, servicing client relations and finalizing transactions
• Manage data analytics projects related to underwriting and claims to ensure objectives and timelines are achieved
• Work with the data scientist and business transformation team, local business units in managing and delivering data analytics projects; coordinate deliverables across stakeholders (internal and external, e.g. underwriting, claims, pricing, IT)
• Address issues from clients independently and coordinate cohesive responses from the relevant stakeholders
• Drive and provide technical actuarial support in performing the required analysis and in performing risk quantifications including obtaining the necessary approval from internal risk committee
• Identify data analytics business opportunities related to life and health (re-)insurance with a focus on underwriting and claims
• Active participation in client pitches and meetings and responsible for following up on any action items
• Act as a liaison point on projects with the local business units within Munich Re Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and Africa business
• Lead or support any strategic initiatives that Munich Re decides to embark on
• Organize and execute service and marketing activities (workshops, conferences, articles, etc.)
• Leverage regional experience and provide support, knowledge transfer and guidance as necessary for local business units who are new in embarking data analytics projects.

Your Role:

• Associate or Fellow of a recognized actuarial body (ASA, FSA, FIA, FFA or FIAA)
• 7+ years of experience in insurance or reinsurance
• Good technical and analytical expertise, with a logical and concise approach, and a demonstrated commitment to detail
• Excellent understanding in life insurance operations (underwriting, actuarial, risk management, claims); experience in data analytics is beneficial
• Practical experience in project management and client management
• Excellent command of verbal and written communication skills
• Enjoys dealing with clients and selling solutions, has an influential personality and excels in seeing tasks through to completion
• Ability to integrate in a high-performance team with a high degree of responsibility, self-reliance and adaptability in managing business pressures
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team with good project management and prioritisation skills

Your Profile:
