Summary This position will be a key business support to Management and Operation Cost Controllers by providing financial analysis support in the Terminal Handling area. The candidate will be involved actively in the period close process, accounting & management results reconciliation as well as LISA/SAM/implementation. Main Responsibilities: Terminal Cost Analysis & Business Support Extract, analyze, reconcile, and report data from SAP (General Ledger) to ensure data integrity and accuracy stated in the management accounts (Consolidated Income Statement) follow the GAAP (General Accepted Accounting Principles) and subject to applicable accounting standards adopted by the company. Prepare variance analysis and commentaries on the Terminal Operations costs differential against various benchmarks as well as liaise with internal and external auditors in this regard. Consolidate and prepare trend analysis on the changes in the costs components and drivers. Liaison with global cost & financial controllers to understand nature of costs booked and improve processes in cost capture. Accounting Reconciliation Lead in setting up a framework of comparison between the accounting results in SAP versus the Load Engine at a granular detail to drive actionable decisions Close the gap between accounting & management results to ensure consistency and credibility of both tools Refine inputs in both systems to ensure success in the to-be world of SAM/LAM (SAP/Load Accruals Management) Finance Transformation LISA/LARA/SAM/LAM To serve as a contact point and project manager for Operations costs revamp in the new to-be systems. Ensure all cutover issues are identified and coordinate with IT for solutioning of interim or to-be processes. Minimum Requirements: Degree in Accounting/Business Administration or related disciplines (preferably with shipping experience) Good proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, SAP, BPC.
