Management Accountant / Business Controller

Job Description
We are representing an established energy trading firm for a Management Accountant / Business Controller. This is a new headcount for their growing Singapore office reporting and working closely with Managing Director Accounting and CFO.
Responsibility
- Design and implement best practice management reporting framework
- Evaluate and report company and group performance (trading division and mining division separate and combined)
- Presentation to internal stakeholders like the senior management and external stakeholders like the banks
- Support in business planning and decision-making, incl. budgeting
- Participate in internal projects on corporate policies and procedures
- Mapping and documentation of control environment
- Liaise closely with risk management and accounting
- Partner with CFO and CEO in projects such as investments or structured finance
- Understand, update and own financial valuation models of the group and potential investments
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related disciplines
- At least 3 years of working experience at a Big 4 Accounting firm, exposure to commodity trading (oil, energy, metals and agri, etc.) would be highly advantageous
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other reporting software
- Chartered Accountant with an understanding of accounting and reporting rules as well as general tax rules (local and international)
