Proactively prospect, identify, and target potential Canopy clients through various channels, including personal network, cold outreach, partnerships and referrals and bring them to a close
Attend relevant business networking events and conferences where Canopy\xe2\x80\x99s clientele will be at, engaging in new conversations with potential Canopy clients to expand our footprint within the wealth management tech sector.
Canopy\'s clientele are Family Offices, Wealthy Families / Individuals, Wealth Managers, External / Independent Asset Managers, Private Bankers, Trustees, Fiduciaries
Effectively manage and update the sales pipeline. Accurately forecast sales revenue and provide regular reports on sales performance and progress towards targets.
Identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement in the sales process
Client Segmentation/ Market Research:
Build a deep understanding of the product, client\xe2\x80\x99s pain points, client journey, target markets, and competing alternatives
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth sales process and successful implementation of our solution
Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments to effectively position our offerings and drive value for clients.
Any ad hoc project and task as assigned by the management
Requirements
Hunter sales; Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably in the Financial Services/ Wealth Management or FinTech sector
Understanding of the enterprise software market, particularly within the financial services industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with clients
Instinctually able to connect and engage with a diversity of personalities to advance commercially oriented conversations
High energy, adaptable, positive, empathetic, with a strong moral compass
Fluent proficiency in Mandarin and business proficiency in English is preferred to liaise with stakeholders both in China and globally.
Ability to work in a fast paced, startup team environment
Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth
Strong customer-facing and presentation skills with the ability to establish credibility with senior financial executives
Excellent technical skills or ability to quickly learn and communicate technical concepts
Self-Motivation, the ability to make a high volume of calls and touches, the ability to close, persistence, consistency and great time-management
Familiarity with the systems development life cycle is advantageous
