Job Description
As a Business Development and Accounts Executive at The Travel Intern, you will get the chance to work closely with partners from the travel industry (airlines, tourism boards, hotels etc.) to create compelling travel content and marketing campaigns. You\xe2\x80\x99ll help to explore growth by pursuing opportunities for the company to increase sales and expand its business. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities & Expectations
1) Lead Generation and Sales- Develop growth opportunities for the core business verticals of the company
- Build new relationships with potential partners/clients to create new business opportunities
- Generate new leads through digital and offline avenues.
- Take the lead in creating compelling proposals with the creative team
- Manage aspects of the client relationship and take responsibility for the management of assigned campaigns
- Ensure timely execution of projects, and act as a liaison with internal and external departments, to develop accurate and realistic creative production/creative briefs, proposals and project plans
- Analyse, review and report on the effectiveness of digital campaigns (ROI) in an effort to maximise results
- Understands the Travel and Media industries well, and is up-to-date with the latest industry trends to propose fresh ideas to potential partners/clients.
Requirements
- Interest and experience with the media and/or travel industries
- Thrives in a start-up culture with lots of autonomy and experimentation
- Possess excellent networking, communication and interpersonal/people skills
- Resourceful problem solver
- Proven experience in sales and/or accounts servicing
- Pays attention to detail, has good negotiation skills, and can work under pressure
- Able to work independently and is ROI focused
