Business Development (Senior Executive/Manager)

Our client is a UK-headquartered international law firm with unique expertise in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and structured finance, along with practices handling investment funds, antitrust, energy, transport and infrastructure, intellectual property, IT, dispute resolution, financial services, tax, real estate, regulatory, telecommunication and employment.

They are presently looking for a Business Development professional to support the firm\xe2\x80\x99s growth in Asia. Role can be at Senior Executive or Junior Managerial level, depending on individual\xe2\x80\x99s experience.

Job Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible all aspects of Business development & marketing including, but not limited to the following:

• Work with lawyers and the team to prepare pitch proposals, capability statements, reports, presentations, and other client-facing documentation
• Support the client care programme, including communications and events
• Track market and client developments and trends, spot revenue generation opportunities and work with the BDM to drive those opportunities to a successful conclusion
• Undertake external and internal research, business analysis and competitor intelligence to support client facing meetings and proposals
• Assist with any other ad hoc requests as required

Qualifications

• At least 3-4 years of Business Development experience in any professional service industry, legal industry preferred.
• Tertiary qualification in business or relevant degree, LL.B. preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Strong written and analytical skills, with the ability to present complex information and concepts in a clear and concise manner.
• Strong organisational, project management and delivery skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Time management and multi-tasking skills, along with the ability to work in a time-sensitive environment.
