Brief Description About the Position Product sourcing and development of products including maintenance of listings on ecommerce website
Key Job Responsibilities
Undertake product sourcing duties - Identify, evaluate, and source travel activities, attractions, tours and transportation services/products that suits travellers and commercially drive the travel business
Negotiate commercial terms for desirable business terms, rates, and inventory with new and existing suppliers
Maintain supplier relationships; occasional attending tradeshows when required
Prepare presentation decks and conduct presentations when required
Prepare sales agreement and invoices when required
Reviewing supplier performance through meetings with them to seek constant improvement and adding value on the products/services to customers
Conduct regular stock-takes, product, rates, and inventory management internally and externally with suppliers, ensuring the product listings are up to date
Liaison between suppliers and customers to provide service recovery to ensure customer satisfaction when matter arises
Evaluate, analyse, and monitor competitors\xe2\x80\x99 activities to drive competitive position for the business in the travel industry. This includes being relevant to travel trends and supply market dynamics
Track, monitor and manage escalation of customers\xe2\x80\x99 feedback promptly by fostering a close working relationship with customer service and retail division
Conduct and coordinate UAT testing for product development and system enhancements when required
Provide support in preparation of sales reports and yearly audit reporting (training will be provided)
Able to prepare sales forecast and work towards given key-performance-indicators (KPI)
Handle customer service team internal queries and provide resolutions when required
Assist in administration, other responsibilities and any ad-hoc duties assigned
Minimum Job Requirements
Diploma in Business/Marketing/E-commerce/Tourism with at least 1 to 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in relevant industry
Min 2-3 years working experience
Strong business acumen, self-motivated and driven attitude to produce good results
Independent, fast learner and reliable person who can work with minimal supervision
Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
Is resourceful, able to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively in meeting deadlines
Good communicator, proactive & good team player
Positive attitude with a can-do mindset
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office
May be required to attend to urgent requests over weekends or after office hours due to the nature of ecommerce business
