As the Senior Director Business Development, you will be responsible for helping the company to expand their business to public sector.

My client is one of the key players in the telecommunications industry, with worldwide business coverage. They currently employ more than 20,000 individuals and offer a wide range of products, ranging from conventional fixed-line telephones to 5G technology, as well as IT and network services.

Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop and drive new growth strategies to acquire new business and partnerships in the public sector.
• Establish and nurture a robust sales pipeline while assisting with the implementation and on-boarding processes.
• Act as a team player, leading collaboration across various key internal stakeholders to offer clients viable product offerings and effective product positioning.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with technology and marketing partners to uncover new opportunities.
• Monitor and report key performance metrics, market trends, and business development activities, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders.
• Take a proactive approach by offering consultations or workshops to potential clients in the public sector, increasing company brand awareness and product knowledge.

Profile

Requirements:

• A recognized degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA would be advantageous.
• 15+ years of working experience in the telecommunications/ICT industry with a proven track record in sales and business development.
• Experience in handling the public sector within the Singapore market.
• Strong industry knowledge in telecommunications and digital solutions products.
• Experience in managing 5G projects would be beneficial but not essential.
• Demonstrates exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Possesses excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Displays self-motivation and a results-oriented approach, along with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
