Work you'll do
The Business Development team supports management in identifying and executing business development activities in line with the practice's strategic business plans. The team's goal is to assist partners in targeting, winning and retaining strategic clients through client targeting programs; active account management and delivering outstanding client service. We are seeking a new Executive for this team, reporting into the Business Development Senior Manager. This is a role with excellent growth and development opportunities.

Responsibilities
The team undertakes a range of activities focused on client acquisition and growing client relationships, which includes:

  • Proposal advisory and support for strategic client acquisition
  • Tracking and monitoring of various procurement portals
  • Coordinating and supporting the firm's pursuit activities
  • Supporting global, regional, and local client sales/pursuits initiatives
  • Client and market research and analysis
  • Other client-related projects
Reporting into the Business Development Senior Manager, this position assists with our strategic client portfolio and provides day-to-day assistance to client-facing professionals. Key responsibilities of the role will include actively supporting the client service planning process and facilitating client service team meetings. Note this is a back office role, not a sales (client-facing) role.

Requirements
  • A recognised University degree in marketing, business, commerce, economics or a related discipline
  • Up to 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably within a professional services environment. Entry level candidates are also welcome to apply.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively - both independently and as part of a team
  • Appreciation of marketing, targeting, account management and pitching
  • Appreciation of Singapore/Southeast Asia corporate landscapes
  • Ability to conduct research effectively and managing of collaboration sites/ tools
  • Meticulous, with an attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
