We’re growing, and we now have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Business Development Executive within our Dual Asset business. Based remotely, with occasional travel to our UK offices, we’re looking for a strong BD professional to join us to work across our Northern region.
Working alongside our Head of UK Business Development we’re looking for a self - motivated and enthusiastic individual, who is interested in taking their next step within the corporate sector. You will have the opportunity to join our energetic, fast paced and multifaceted organisation on a full time, permanent basis. You will need to have excellent organisational, territory planning & interpersonal skills, with a strong attention to detail.
We are looking for an individual who has strong communication skills, ability to manage a large geographical territory & is self- driven to meet the needs of the role. If you have the right ability, drive and demeanour, then DUAL is the place for you.
DUAL Asset is the largest international writer of Title Insurance outside the US, insuring in over 48 countries worldwide. We specialise in insurance solutions in four main areas: Legal Indemnity & Title Insurance, M&A, Executors & Inheritance and Aviation Title.
Formed in 2013, we had an annual gross written premium of £98m in 2021. The team is made up of over 60 people which includes insurance professionals, qualified solutions and property experts.
We have offices in London, Norwich, Dublin, Malaga, Barcelona and Warsaw and are continuing to expand rapidly. Our insurance solutions provide protection against ownership risks for assets, real estate and shares - enabling transactions to continue without delay.
Areas of focus


  • Generating new business opportunities

  • Manage a portfolio of existing clients

  • Management of your own diary

  • Meeting with conveyancers, property, probate, corporate lawyers & brokers offering appropriate insurance solutions.

  • Work within agreed targets to be reviewed monthly with line manager

  • Working closely with the underwriting team to handle client expectations and communication.

  • Actively lead and maintain client records via our CRM system.

  • Representing DUAL Asset at industry functions & events.

  • Production of business reports as the need arises

  • Be fully engaged / interactive on social media platforms

  • Provide regular market intel and competitor analysis

  • Problem solving and looking for solutions, collaborating closely with Head of Business Development UK when required

  • Working to deadlines and handling stakeholder expectations, with regular communication

You

  • Previous Business Development experience

  • Understanding of the UK property, insurance & legal sectors

  • A positive demeanour and is self- motivated

  • Possess a high attention to detail

  • A standout colleague with the ability to learn quickly

  • Possess relevant IT skills

  • High level of numeracy and literacy skills

  • Confidence and curiosity to ask questions

  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
