1. Customer acquisition: BDEs are responsible for finding new clients and convincing existing clients to continue to work with the company.


2. Lead generation: BDEs generate leads and keep them interested until they reach the bottom of the sales funnel.


3. Negotiation: BDEs negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers.


4. Project management: BDEs oversee projects in the company.


5. Communication: BDEs interact with clients and business partners to promote good relationships and develop a rapport with their team.


6. Organizational skills: BDEs may work with multiple clients at once and need to maintain progress reports.


7. Market trend analysis: BDEs analyze the current market and business trends to create plans to boost up the business
