Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in direct sales leadership, business development, or customer management.
  • Experience working in business development related to software as a service, middleware, mobile applications or similar technology solutions.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in reaching and exceeding strategic goals in the technology industry with SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products.
  • Ability to operate with enthusiasm and flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving team environment.
  • Ability to build influential relationships and to deliver results in a cross-functional/matrixed environment.

In this role you will contact and connect with potential customers to generate new business growth for Google Cloud's Apigee Sales teams. You will collaborate with marketing and sales teams to engage prospective customers interested in evaluating Google Cloud products.

Responsibilities
  • Be a trusted partner to customers, acting as the strategy consultant of their success to accelerate their speed to achieving business value using Apigee products.
  • You'll lead and coordinate all C-level interactions, while facilitating a wide range of activities including product driving API Program excellence.
  • Lead workshops covering Agile best practices, API Program management, and Developer Engagement, mentor customers in the transformational power of their API first strategy.
  • Own project budget management, risk monitoring and mitigation, resource requirements, and customer account management.
