Together, we can help our people to stay healthy and meaningfully engaged.The Health & Wellbeing (Office of the President) is responsible for the innovation, implementation and evaluation of health & wellbeing programmes which support the general NUS population.We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development & Learning Manager to support our Growth and Partnerships team (GPT) in marketing and selling high-quality resilience and mental wellbeing workshops to businesses and the public. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development in the health and wellbeing space, mental health, psychology, or a related field, coupled with exceptional organizational and leadership skills. You will work closely with the GPT Deputy Lead and Lead and be responsible for assisting in sourcing of strategic partnerships, identifying market gaps and marketing HWB programmes to potential clients. This role involves significant client interaction and requires a proactive, empathetic, and communicative professional dedicated to promoting mental wellbeing. and Abilities:Business Development & Client Management (Core Role)Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue growth and enhance HWB's market presence in the health and wellbeing sector.
Partnership Building: Identify, engage, and establish long-term partnerships with corporate clients, community organizations, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business opportunities.
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, gaps, and opportunities in the health and wellbeing landscape. Use insights to develop tailored solutions and anticipate client needs.
Leveraging Technology and Databases: Utilize CRM systems, analytics tools, and databases to generate, track, and nurture leads effectively. Analyse lead data to identify high-value opportunities and optimise outreach strategies
Revenue Growth: Drive business growth by securing contracts for wellbeing training programs, curriculum design projects, and other organizational offerings.
Lead Generation and Outreach: Leverage networks, industry events, and digital platforms to generate high-quality leads and expand the client base.
Proposal Development: Lead the creation of compelling business proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to client needs and aligned with organizational goals.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, L&D, NUS SCALE, wellbeing specialists, and operations, to deliver seamless and effective client solutions.
Performance Metrics and Reporting: Establish KPIs for business development activities and regularly report on progress, challenges, and achievements to the Growth and Partnerships team.Learning Consultancy
Conduct needs assessments to understand client requirements and customize training solutions accordingly.
Collaborate with clients to develop long-term learning and development strategies that promote resilience and wellbeing.Training and Delivery (Secondary Role)
Deliver engaging and effective wellbeing training sessions to various stakeholder groups, including corporate teams, community organizations, and individuals.
Facilitate in-person training sessions, ensuring a high level of participant engagement and interaction, and fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Tailor training content to align with specific organizational needs and participant backgrounds, adapting training delivery to meet the learning needs of participants
Share insights and practical applications during training sessionsContinuous Improvement
Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in L&D and wellbeing topics.
Collaborate with other trainers, psychologists, and subject matter experts to enhance programme content.
Incorporate new techniques and insights into the training program as and when required.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business, Psychology, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience: Minimum of 4 years in business development, with at least 2 years in a L&D, or a related role within the health and wellbeing sector.Skills & Attributes:
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and feedback.Technical Proficiency:
Proficiency with virtual training platforms and learning tools.
Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).Additional Requirements:
Ability to travel to client or training locations as needed.
Flexibility to work outside regular business hours to accommodate training schedules.
