We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager or Director to be a key architect of our growth. You will be instrumental in forging new partnerships, unlocking revenue streams, and solidifying our position as a leader in the micro-drama space. This is a high-impact role for a strategic thinker who thrives on building something new and navigating a fast-paced, evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Development:
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential for revenue generation.
Develop and execute a comprehensive market expansion strategy that aligns with our core business objectives.
Translate market insights into actionable plans to secure a competitive advantage.
Partnership & Client Management:
Lead end-to-end client acquisition, from prospecting and pitching to contract negotiation and closure.
Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including content distributors, mobile platforms, gaming companies, and brand partners.
Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, ensuring strategic alignment and exceptional satisfaction to foster repeat business and referrals.
Collaboration & Execution
Establish and manage strategic, mutually beneficial partnerships to enhance our market reach and brand positioning.
Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product Development, Content) to launch and support growth initiatives.
Act as the voice of the client and partner, providing critical feedback to inform product and content strategy.
Performance & Analytics
Define, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of business development activities.
Manage and report on the business development pipeline, providing regular updates on progress, client feedback, and partnership milestones.
Utilize data-driven insights to continuously refine strategies and optimize overall business performance.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Fluent in Business Mandarin, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills, essential for engaging with regional partners and clients.
Must possess a strong understanding of the media, mobile gaming, and mobile applications landscape. Min 5 years relevant working experience.
A natural negotiator with a proven ability to close deals and build consensus.
A self-starter who is independent, driven, and thrives in a challenging, high-growth environment.
Exceptional at building rapport and fostering trust with a diverse range of people.
