Traineeship Description
The business development manager (BDM) is often the first point of contact a new potential client will have with a business when they are seeking information on the products and services the company provides.
Duration of traineeship offered
6 months
Specific Responsibilities
Individual to be involved in:
1.Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement.
2.Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients.
3.Collaborate with design and sales teams to ensure that requirements are met.
4.Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned.
Competencies to learn
1. Drive the entire team from leads generation, initial customer engagement, qualifying to closure
2.Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales.
3.Consult with prospect about business challenges and requirements with analysis of costs and benefits.
4. Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions.
Education and Qualifications
