The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think strategically and work collaboratively.Responsibilities:

  • Researching organisations and markets to develop new prospects, leads and opportunities.
  • Understand the challenges & complexities businesses are faced with when it comes to Cybersecurity.
  • Qualifying the right NCC Group client, by understanding how we deliver value to the market based on our extensive services portfolio.
  • Working with internal & global teams to achieve results.
  • Work closely with our Customer Experience team to maximise opportunity within the specified vertical.
  • Expanding opportunities within existing NCC clients.
  • Scheduling meetings and engaging prospective clients.
  • Maintaining accurate Client Relationship Management records
  • Produce strategy and business plans to penetrate specific target markets.
  • Manage and develop accounts to maximize both client satisfaction and revenue.
  • Achieving the sales target as set out by the business.
Required Experience:
  • A minimum of 5 years business to business IT Sales - must have
  • Experience of the IT cybersecurity market is a must
  • Experience of selling to Medium to Large Enterprises is desirable
  • Experience of dealing with senior decision makers - up to CXO level
  • IT literacy - understanding of typical terms used in corporate IT environments.
  • Lead sourcing and researching.
  • Sales Cycle and pipeline management.
  • Accurate forecasting
  • CRM (Salesforce a bonus)
  • Experience working with mid - market and enterprise accounts - Desirable.
Essential Competencies:
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Market Awareness - Able to use a wide range of available resources to research market trends and competitive information.
  • Time and Territory Management - Able to organize each day, week and month to maximize client contact.
  • Consultative, solution selling approach - Ability to use advanced questioning techniques to uncover relevant needs across a prospects business.
  • Building the commercial argument - Understanding of NCC Groups strategy and proposition to the market and ability to tailor the benefits to present specific commercial benefits to the client. Ability to clearly explain ROI
  • Going the extra mile - Always looking to proactively exceed the clients expectations.
  • Solving business problems - constantly looking for innovative ways of solving customer needs.
  • Achieving Targets - proven track record at achieving targets, a desire and capability to continue to push beyond 100%.
  • Accurate Forecasting - An understanding of the business pipeline to provide accurate forecasting
