Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated business development manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business development efforts and developing programs that incorporate AI, chatbots and analytics with a focus on the telecommunications industry. Ideally, you will have hands-on experience with chatbots, AI technologies and data science. Additionally, knowledge of telco systems and system architecture is required. If you are passionate about AI and have a strong background in both business development and AI/ Business Messaging, we encourage you to apply.Business Development Manager, Telco Business Messaging & AI ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement business strategies for advanced analytics, AI, and business messaging, including market analysis, competitor research, and trend forecastingDeliver high quality partner pitches, negotiate and close deals and ensure program delivery as per agreed KPI (key performance indicator)Foster strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact for program performanceCollaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones to drive the execution of projects and initiativesStay up-to-date and develop a deep understanding of latest developments in AI, messaging and analytics technologies and telco systemsTravel as needed for business purposes (approximately 30% of the time) to meet with partners and stakeholdersMinimum QualificationsBachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in business development or sales in the technology industryKnowledge of telco systems and system architectureEither 3+ years of experience in data science/AI engineering OR hands-on experience with LLM, RAG, and other generative AI technologiesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProven track record of closing deals and achieving sales targetsDemonstrated analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively at all levels in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsMaster\'s degreeLocationsAbout MetaMeta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses.
