Purpose The Shell Mobility Singapore business serves more than 300,000 customers monthly across 57 sites in Singapore. With a customer ambition of being the \xe2\x80\x9cMost Loved Mobility Retailer in Singapore\xe2\x80\x9d, it is imperative for the business to evolve beyond traditional fuel options and keep up with emerging e-mobility trends.

Vehicle electrification is gathering pace globally with the International Energy Agency anticipating that there may be 300 to 400 million EVs on the road globally by 2040. In Singapore, the government has announced the ambition to phase out ICE vehicles by 2040 with an aggressive plan to install 28,000 EV chargers at public locations by 2030.

The Business Development & Operations Executive will play a key role in the implementation of new business propositions including e-Mobility to ensure Shell Mobility Singapore continues to remain relevant to the communities we serve and deliver Shell\xe2\x80\x99s ambitions to be a leader in our Energy Transition journey.

Purpose:

• Implement, support and co-ordinate activities that ensure the successful roll-out and integration of new business propositions. Scope of the new business propositions includes but not limited to e-Mobility, digital services and structural initiatives at service stations.
• Role will cross-collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders across different business teams to drive profitability and customer readiness. Such activities will include the following amongst others \xe2\x80\x93 training and engagement materials for on-ground staff, developing and executing back-end processes and new ways of working, UAT testing and pilot deployment of new initiatives.
• Role will be expected to provide on-going operational support for both new and existing business propositions such as customer query handling, deal making support, invoicing and payment collections from partners.

Responsibilities:

Scope for e-Mobility:

• Responsible for operational management of the charging network to continuously deliver the Shell Recharge CVPs, including:

• Monitoring charger performance in various ways, such as with automated digital tools and site recces, to track actual performance against the CVP standards

• Coordinating across various functional teams, including Sales & Operations, Engineering etc. to deliver effective issue resolution

• Customer query handling

• Invoicing and payments collection with partners

• Drive new EV-charging deployment opportunities for network expansion by:

• Supporting the deal-making process with the counterparties, such as site surveys, contracting and sales engagements

• Tracking and reporting the status of the leads in the pipeline, and following up on leads that are at risk

Scope for New Business Propositions:

• UAT testing, resolution/defect handling and pilot deployment of new initiatives where required
• Hyper-care support for when new business propositions are launched to ensure that these propositions are launched smoothly and that any feedback from customers or defects are acted by the project team immediately.
• Work closely with project teams and cross functional teams to deliver these new business propositions in a manner such that the experience to the customer is connected to the rest of existing business propositions.
• Provide on-going operational support to manage the change of these new propositions to service stations, such as training for both on-ground and customer service staff, creation of staff engagement materials, on-ground support when initiatives are launched, focal point to service stations for feedback, invoicing and payments collections (where necessary).
• Develop a detailed change impact assessment in order to secure a shared view of these impacts and the associated operational and safety risks amongst the project team leading the change and the business teams that are supporting the change.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree with minimum 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Prior experience in operations would be preferred.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the proven ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders across different businesses and functions.
• Meticulous, organized and attentive to details.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong project management skills within tight timelines.
