We seek a Business Development Senior Manager – SkillsFuture (SSG) Queen Bee Leader, with a hunter mindset to grow our pool of opportunity outside of our incumbent customer base, and to manage and lead our SSG Queen Bee Programme with SSG. We are currently seeking to add a new member to our team based in Singapore servicing the Singapore Region. This person will be responsible for developing a strong opportunity pipeline to deliver upon a robust secured sales plan. The primary focus for this position shall be upon the Digital Solutions , working closely with different Johnson Controls LOB and selling into targeted verticals. How you will do it:

SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Partnership: Queen Bee
Johnson Controls is partnering SkillsFuture Singapore to be part of a network of Queen Bee companies. As the Business Development Manager – SkillsFuture Queen Bee Leader , your responsibility is to be the single point of contact for SkillsFuture and to oversee the achievement of both larger organization goals and successful collaboration with SSG team. Duties include:

  • Function as the face of JCI Digital Solutions & SSG QueenBee Partnership
  • Evangelize the partnership, representing JCI during events and conferences
  • Develop and build out the JCI – SSG branding, engagement portal, and ecosystem
  • C oordinate and programme manage efforts between different Queen Bee - lead the overall program with strong attention to strategy, implementation, and delegation
  • Promote thought leadership and utilization of the partnership
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and SSG stakeholders to align regional quarterly objective as required
  • Responsible for the cultivation of future partnerships with SkillsFuture Singapore and external stakeholders (for example, institute of higher learning)
Business Development requirements
  • Identifying target customers & facilities within the region from which you will develop an opportunity pipeline
  • Develop strong customer relationships within the Singapore region to drive secured growth in our Digital Solutions & Services portfolio
  • Bottom-up project ideation, leading design in conjunction with engineering support, through estimating & proposal generation
  • By leveraging Johnson Controls – SkillsFuture Queen Bee starter kits to differentiate our solutions from the market
  • Supported by the existing JCI business units to build the necessary internal and client relationships to expand our existing business relationships across the region
  • You will work on Optimization and Retrofit Solutions to extend the value and lifespan of your legacy facilities
  • Building and maintaining internal relationships within sales, operations and service functional areas as well as coordinating with numerous internal contacts in all regions of the world is a requirement to ensure successful pre and post-sales support of our client’s needs
  • Facilitating pipeline reviews and maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline in order to meet or exceed annual sales objectives
  • This role is designed to support Johnson Controls Singapore region’s current installed base and new prospective small-medium enterprises and drive growth through the expansion of JCI’s solutions and services within the Singapore region
What we look for:
  • Previous Business Development and demonstrated experience developing a solutions sales pipeline
  • Understand the external built environment from both a hardware and software perspective
  • Strong Programme Management and end-user relationship management skills.
  • Strong relationship development skills and a proven business development track record.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local market, competitors, and industry trends
  • Ability to influence globally, strong EQ (Emotional Intelligence Skills)
  • Customer relationship management experience is a definite asset
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a high-growth environment with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with SkillsFuture Singapore Programmes and engagements a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
