Business Enhancement Lead

Your new company

Our client is a global commodities company encompasses natural gas supply and marketing activities in SEA and Europe; and Oil and Gas trading, shipping and optimisation; as well as energy hedging and financial solutions. They are looking for a Business Enhancement Lead to be involved and lead exciting projects in various departments of the company. Candidates with experience in process improvement on trading systems within commodities will be encouraged to apply.

Your new role

• This role is a key position within a newly created team responsible for driving efficient and effective business operations to support the multiple business units globally.
• Working with the business lines and support functions, the role will support the development of business processes focusing on Gas/LNG and derivatives trading in the middle/back office in Asia.
• The role will also enhancement of procedures with a view to improve efficiency and effectiveness without compromising on governance objectives.
• It will help to drive and develop operational KPIs and help embed PE\'s value of Excellence and Ownership.
• Working as a global team with counterparts in Europe, the role will help to maintain consistency and support integration of processes between Europe & Asia.

What you\'ll need to succeed

• BSc/BA in Business/Engineering/Banking/IT, or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial/commodity trading environment
• Good knowledge of Front to Back Commodities trading operations, with special focus on the middle office, and ETRM systems.
• Project Management certification is a definite plus
