Role Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Actively involving in Sales Technology and Process change program to improve Sales Productivity and Client Experience
  • Focusing on electronification of sales booking workflow
  • Focusing on Process Efficiency through constant automation and reduction of manual processes either owned or external programs related to client experience. Collaborate with all relevant product overs to ensure synergy and coherence
  • Partnering with Technology teams targeting timeframes and certifying a high level of quality, consistency
  • Liaise with FM Sales to understand the specific requirements to build a technological blueprint which will enable the bank to provide better product offering to our clients.
  • Support CCIB COO/business program delivery, document and track FM participation and deliveries, leading periodic reviews across FM businesses to track successes and highlight challenges
  • Engage with internal & external stakeholders to ensure all change initiatives are reflective of business and industry requirements and fit for purpose in delivering our aspiration as a client centric function.
Business
  • Focus on FM Sales Productivity by tracking and coordinating their FM Technology framework or internal processes.
  • Coordinates annual FM sales program management and annual investment ask proposals, including challenging all requests for funding on a commercial and strategic proposition with respect to technology developments.
  • Maintain close working relationship with appropriate delivery teams from Technology, Operations. Facilitate an open and direct communication of issues, needs, queries, etc. such that these may be solved with common agreed solutions in an efficient, prompt and professional manner.
Growth Opportunities:
  • Analyse and understand the end to end the Trade lifecycle workflow and identify potential process improvements for Pricing, Trade Processing, Operations or Supervision systems.
  • Work with Technology, Macro Product team and other stakeholders to influence in the prioritisation and build initiatives which contribute to boost the bank business
  • Engage constructively and diligently follow up on internal decisions that need to be taken in order to enable growth initiatives to be executed.
Processes
  • Oversight the existing processes for increased consistency and transparency.
  • Standardising all project management disciplines to follow best practice and simplifying where possible to drive simpler, faster, better processes for the bank.
  • Ensure that the governance and compliance framework grow in step with the business functions by routing all new developments through the existing regulations or SCB internal policies.
  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role

Our Ideal Candidate
  • 4+ years experience in Banking/Financial Services
  • Solid understanding of financial markets (and products) across sales and trading
  • Good knowledge about Front Office systems, Sales-Trader workflows and Trade lifecycle.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
  • Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
  • Problem solving and root cause identification skills - i.e. methodical and thorough
  • Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
  • Experienced with large-scale organizational change efforts
  • Track record of influencing stakeholders across functions/business areas to achieve a common goal
